Went to the restaurant on Sunday evening, whilst staying elsewhere. The hotel is handily located on the seafront. Regular menu had the additional choice of Sunday roast ( beef ) which two of us had. We all enjoyed our meals and I particularly enjoyed my dessert ( poached pear ). Had a couple of drinks in the relaxing bar area afterwards. Staff friendly and attentive . Good value for money

Cannot fault the place in the slightest the staff are amazing !!!! So friendly and helpful. The beds where comfy and the food was to die for. The staff where definitely the best part tho they made you feel right at home. My mother in law had her wedding here and they where so accommodating

Very nice hotel but unable to say how good the rooms were as we only used the function suite for a celebration, The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food pretty good too. The bar was well stocked and at a reasonable price. Would use again if and when the need arises.

Hotel was a well kept proper old fashioned sea front hotel. The cooked breakfast was of good quality and the young serving staff were friendly and efficient. Some parking at back of hotel down a very narrow drive but out of main season, there is plenty of free parking on seafront road.

Stayed here mid-december with my lovely wife for our anniversary. Wonderful sea view, lovely room and friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing.

Rooms were clean and everything you need. Bit basic but it is 3 🌟. We had a room on the back which was good but I guess a sea view room is great. Book earlier next time. Staff, we actually felt we were being served by people who wanted to be there which was great. We felt very welcome and staff were very helpful. Location, great. Right on the front. Would we stay again definitely !

We were very surprised by this hotel , given the price was £90.00 cheaper than others on the road with breakfast also included ! and we were not disappointed !..... The team was great ! The food is good , the dog was spoilt !. The room was a little on the small side , but it had everything you needed for your stay ! Customer service fantastic ! Loved our recent stay here during Storm Babet, (the sun did show itself), room was comfortable and clean, staff were very friendly and very helpful, food in Garrods was good. Great location on the seafront with it's own carpark and within walking distance to the town, with everything you need, (shops, restaurants, bars and clubs) which means nights were quiet for a good sleep. Thanks to all at the Furzedown. We'll be back.
